What drew me to pursue a career in makeup back in 2005 was how many avenues of work the craft provided. At that time, I wanted to work exclusively on film sets with the aim of being a 'Makeup Designer' for films.
Film really is thrilling, I've worked on a handful - but over the past decade, I've learned that I really liked to dance in a few of its other worlds, photoshoot campaigns, documentaries, live tv and commercial work. I'd be hard pressed to name a favorite... (alright, alright, prob sunny, fun destination photoshoots;).
For someone who always likes to have new experiences on a weekly, even daily basis, it's a great career choice - And like every other career, it comes with its own unique challenges.
Here on this blog, I'll address the highlights and the contours ;) of the industry. Share with you some insider tips, tricks and product reviews.
What's next on the agenda? My guy's Pilot that we're filming over the next month. We'll be doing some behind the scene documenting, and I'm excited to share all that exciting goodness with you here.
